Marry Me Chicken Pizza

This pizza takes Marry Me Chicken up a notch!

Preparation Time: 20 min; Cook Time: 15 min

Ingredients

1 (13.8 ounce) Essential Everyday Pizza Crust, rolled into a large rectangle

1 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 cup yellow onion, finely diced

1 tablespoon Essential Everyday all purpose flour

2 cloves minced garlic

1/3 cup finely chopped sun dried tomatoes, divided

1 tablespoon Essential Everyday tomato paste

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup Essential Everyday heavy cream

1/2 cup Essential Everyday chicken broth

2 tablespoons grated parmesan

1 cup shredded rotisserie chicken

Essential Everyday mozzarella cheese

fresh basil

grated parmesan cheese

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Roll out pizza crust into a large rectangle on place on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and saute for 3-4 minutes. Add in flour and garlic and stir well, then add in 2 tbsp of the sun-dried tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes and salt and stir well.

Pour in heavy cream and broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in parmesan. Let cook for 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens.

Spread the sauce over the prepared pizza crust, leaving a little space around the edges. Top with an even layer of mozzarella cheese, then the chicken, remaining sun-dried tomatoes, and a little more cheese.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly. Top with fresh basil and grated parmesan before serving.
